Coacha makes it simple to add new members to your organisation. Whether you are adding individuals manually or building your member base gradually, this guide will walk you through the process.
You can find the option to add a new member by either heading to:
-
People > Your Members and select the 'Add a Member button
Or
People > Add A Member
You will be taken to a form where you can enter the member’s details. This typically includes their name, date of birth, and contact information. If the member is under 18, you will also be able to add parent or next of kin details.
1) Save your work
2) Add Member information here (NOT Parent Information!)
3) Add all other information here, including Parent details in the NOK section
Work your way through the tabs (Notes, Classes & Attendance etc.) and add the relevant information.
We should mention that some fields are required, meaning you will not be able to save until they have been filled.
You can add members to classes and member groups from directly within a member profile.
You can also set specific, personalised reminders for a member:
There are GDPR consent options that need to be completed in order to hold your member’s information within Coacha. If you have verbal consent, you can update them yourself. The first 2 options need be selected in order for you to hold their information under GDPR.*
When you are finished, click ‘Add Member’ and you will be redirected to the Member List, where your new member will sit in amongst your other members.
Inviting the member to Coacha
If an email address has been added, the member (or parent/guardian) can log in to Coacha and complete any remaining information themselves.
This helps ensure that the details on file are accurate and up to date.
