Keeping your classes organised is essential for running your club smoothly. Coacha makes it easy to create, customise, and manage your classes, whether they are simple sessions or fully bookable events with payments.
This guide will walk you through creating a class, enabling bookings, and managing updates.
Setting up the basics
You can create a new class by heading to Classes & Registers and selecting ‘New Class or Event’.
Alternatively, select ‘Your Classes’ to view your full list, then click ‘Create a new class’.
From here, you can set up your class by defining:
- Class / Event Name
- Class Description
- Venue
- Coach
Class Timetable
You can now set your class schedule, and Coacha makes it easy to manage multiple variations of the same class.
Start by selecting the date you would like the class to begin (and an end date if required), then choose the session start and end times.
If the class is recurring, select ‘Is this a recurring class?’. You can then define how often the class repeats and on which days it takes place.
Advanced settings
Coacha now supports more flexible and powerful class scheduling, allowing you to confidently manage long-term and complex setups.
Select 'Does this class recur at different times on different days?' and you will be able to add multiple variation to this class settings:
Venue varies in timetable
Coaches vary in timetable
Capacity varies in timetable
These controls means that you can:
- Create classes with different times, venues, coaches, and capacities per occurrence
- Update class schedules and see changes reflected across future registers
- Add or remove occurrences without disrupting existing bookings
- Maintain bookings for both permanently booked members and those on specific dates
- Generate registers far into the future and have them automatically update when class settings change
Set up how your class can be booked?
NOTE: If you don't need your members to book onto sessions simply skip to adding your members to the class (next section).
There are a lot of different options that you can enabled to manage the ways classes are booked. Check out our guides on all of these settings.

Public page settings (Coacha Custom only)
Coacha allows you to make your classes visible online for both members and non-members, helping you reach a wider audience and grow your club.
You can also choose to offer the class as a trial session, making it easy for new participants to get started. For more information, take a look at our Public Pages guides to find out more on how to set this up.

Permanently adding a member to the class
If you have members that do NOT need to book onto the session, you can add them permanently to the class.
This means that these individuals will always be included on all registers ready to be marked as present. This is excellent for clubs with no requirement for booking onto classes or classes without set class sizes.
Simply hit add members at the bottom of the first page.
Then you can search for and add your members to this class.
Important: If you have PAYG settings enabled you will need to select the payment method. It is worth understanding that if you select that the member has to pay, they will be sent a payment request every time the class occurs automatically.
To save your class - Hit CREATE and Coacha will do the rest!
