Sometimes your classes, events and courses will fill up quickly! This is great news of course, but then a last minute cancellation may mean another member may miss out.
With the Waitlist functionality in Coacha you can control who gets informed of new spaces in your class should they become available.
There are a couple of ways to manage your waitlist in Coacha - so let's take a look!
01 First to respond waitlists
How it works?
You can set your waitlist to open up bookings on a 'first to respond' basis. This means that when a place become available everyone on the waitlist is contacted at the same time and the first to book will take the available place(s).
This is often the best way to run a waitlist for you as you are much more likely to fill the new space quickly.
Enable first to respond waitlist
Select the option to enable the waitlist option in your class, event or course settings.
Then select the first option which will 'Open booking and send emails to everyone on the list at the same time.'.
Always remember to save your class, event or course.
02 First to register, first to be able to book waitlists
How it works?
You are able to offer the space(s) out to members in the order that they joined the waitlist. This is a first come, first served waitlist and is often considered as the fairest option.
There are some things to bear in mind with this type of waitlist though. There is a higher risk that you will not fill the available space(s) before the start of your class. If people high up on the list don't see or reply to the email.
With Coacha you are able to preset the time you want to give members to book the available space(s). Whether that be 1 hour, or 72 hours, or somewhere in between. It's a good idea with this option to make sure your members understand this process and the timescales you decide to set.
To enable first to register, first to be able to book waitlists
Enable the waitlist option in your class, evet or course settings.
Then select the 'Open booking to one member at a time, starting with the first member to join the list.' option.
You will then need to select the time interval between these invites being sent, bearing in mind that people may not see the invite immediately.
Sending your invites via SMS
Text message is much more deliverable, and often far more visible than email, with a 90%+ open rate.
Simply tick the 'Also notify member by text option':
Please note, that you will need to have a Text Local account set up in Coacha to send these texts.
Always remember to save your settings as soon as you have finished editing your class, course or event.
Thanks.
