Coacha makes it easy to manage planned closures, whether they are school holidays, public holidays, or club-specific breaks. By setting up Holiday Periods, you can ensure your recurring classes are automatically updated, saving you time and reducing manual administration.
Holiday Periods allow you to define the dates when your club is closed. Once a holiday period has been added, Coacha will automatically void all recurring class registers that fall within the selected date range, keeping an accurate record for both you and your members.
Note: Holiday Periods only affect recurring classes. One-off events, courses, 1-to-1 sessions, and venue timeslots are not automatically voided and must be managed separately.
Creating your Holiday period
Navigate to your club settings via Dashboard> Club settings >Club setting sub-tab. At the bottom of this page you will find the holiday period section.
- Enter a Holiday Name (for example, Christmas Break or Summer Holidays).
- Select the From Date.
- Select the To Date (inclusive).
- Select Add.
- Hit save!
The holiday period will be saved and displayed in your list of holiday periods.
What Happens When a Holiday Period Is Added?
After a holiday period has been created:
- All recurring class registers that fall within the selected dates will automatically be Voided.
- Members will not see these sesison in their profile
Editing or Removing a Holiday Period
If your plans change, you can update or remove an existing holiday period from the Holiday Periods list, by selecting the red bin icon.
Once changes are saved, Coacha will update the affected recurring class registers accordingly.
