Many clubs and organisations offer family plans and group discounts if multiple people attend the same club. To achieve this in Coacha you can use the 'Family Plans' feature. This enables you associate all of the family or group members in Coacha with a single payment plan.
How do Family Plans work?
Often parents may have multiple children, and they may even belong to the same club themselves.
If this is you, then you can set up a family / group specific plan in Coacha, which means that the family will only need to pay one single monthly payment that covers all of the members' combined monthly fees.
Family and group payment plans associate all of the relevant members with the one single payment. This means that no matter which member of the family you view, you will see that they have been paying for your classes or services through this plan.
When a family plan is selected or sent to a Parent / Next of Kin and they subscribe to it, all members who have that same NOK will be associated with the plan. (note : you can adjust who is associated with the plan in case some family members should not be included.)
Step 1 Creating a Family Plan
It couldn't be simpler to create a Family Plan in Coacha. Marking a plan as a family plan is simply a case of ticking a box during the creation of the plan.
Head to MONEY > Manage plans - in order to create a new plan.
Tick "Is this a family plan":
When marked as a family plan you will be shown the following message when you send the payment request out to a specific member:
How are Family Plans presented & managed?
When a member is part of a family plan, you will be able to see this in their profile, on the Money Dashboard, as well as in the Manage Plans section. Each of these areas will reflect that the member is part of a family plan, making it easier for you to see at a glance the status of a member's payment.
In Manage Plans
If you need to see all members on a family plan you can do this by going to MONEY > MANAGE PLANS, then select 'Members' next to the plan in question.
Here you will be able to see all groups of individual on Family Plans.
Note that each group shows the name of each individual included on the plan. These are all the individuals associated with the payment.
To remove one of the members from the plan you can simply untick them. They will then be shown with a strike through their name to show that that member isn't currently associated with the plan.
From this section you can also perform all the other regular functions on the plan such as pausing, cancelling, and so on.
Family plans on member records.
You can also look at family plans in the Money Dashboard. Search for any member that is on the plan and you will be presented with their payment history in the normal way.
You will also find payments in the member profiles under the money tab.
Thank you
The Coacha Team.
