Moving a member between GoCardless Payment Plans.

Sometimes you will need to move a member from one GoCardless payment plan to another. It could be season changeover or simply that a member wants a different package. This guide will show you how to move someone over in a few easy steps.

Step 1 - Add the member to the new plan

The first step is to set the member up on their new payment plan. 

Head to - MONEY - NEW PAYMENT

Then fill in all of the relevant details. 

Step 1 - Select GoCardless.

Step 2 - Select the member you would like to move (remember to click the ADD button).

Step 3 - Select the Subscription plan they will be moving to. 

Once you have everything selected - hit PAY NOW.

This will take you to the Summary of Payment  - Hit CONFIRM SUBSCRIPTION 

The member is now added to the plan you would like to move them to.

Step 2 - Remove the member from their old plan

Now that the member has been added to the new payment plan, you can remove them from the old plan.

This couldn't be simpler. 

Head to MONEY - PLANS & BUNDLES

Then click - Members / Athletes next to the plan the member needs to be removed from:

Next find the member, then simply hit 'Cancel'. This will remove them from this plan. 

You're all done! You have now transferred the member on to their new payment plan and cancelled the old plan.
