Your members are able to report planned absences such as breaks and holidays, as well as to let you know if they are ill, with Coacha's Illness & Absence feature.
This feature will inform your staff directly on the registers that the member has a leave of absence in the system.
You can find this feature here : - MORE FEATURES / Illness & Absence
Here you will be able to see all any existing members with active time away and also add new leave for other members.
Recording a members absence
To add a leave of absence to a member profile start typing the members name in the search box as soon as you see the members name, click their name in order to start adding your record.
Next you will see the various options you can fill in to explain the leave and view the classes they will miss.
Select the 'Type of Absence' from the drop down menu of options.
Define the start and end of the absence and Coacha will automatically show you all the session that the member will miss while they are away. It will also blank the member out in the registers so that they are unable to be marked as present.
You can enter any other relevant information into the 'Any other details' box to let your staff know the reasons for the absence. - Hit Submit to save the record.
Seeing absence on a register
When you add an absence record to a member profile it affects the registers and lets the staff know that someone is going to be off.
The ability to mark them as present will be removed, an Icon will appear on their entry, and they will be greyed out.
Member reported Absences
Members are able to report their own absences to you as well. See our members guide by clicking here for information on how they are able to do this.
When a member reports that they will be absent from your club you will get an email notification as well as a notification in your coacha notifications.
Thanks
The Coacha Team.
