What do you do if someone joins a course having missed the first few sessions? The answer is simple, set Coacha to work out what they owe automatically.
In Coacha you can manage pro-rata payments on courses by simply ticking a box! Check out how to set this up and how these options work below.
Pro-Rata for Courses
When someone joins a course after the first session, you may want to give them discount them for the sessions they have missed.
How to enable pro-rata on your courses
Firstly you will need to make sure you have your course(s) already set up in Coacha. For guidance on how to set up your courses click here.
When you have created your course, and have entered a price for the course in the PAYG course settings, you will notice a new tick box which will allow you to enable pro-rata.
How does pro-rata for courses work?
This pro-rata feature will work out how many sessions are left on the course, then display and charge for the remaining amount.
Here is an example of how a course with pro-rata payments enabled will handle a late starter.
Total Course price - £100 for 10 sessions of training.
A member or non-member signs up to the course after two sessions have already been completed.
Therefore, the price presented and charged will be £80 for the remaining 8 sessions.
How do pro-rata courses look on the public pages?
Pro-rata for courses are displayed to members and non members alike. If you use Coacha's Public Pages feature, your courses will be displayed correctly based on when they are viewed:
Managing pro-rata payments in courses and events has never been simpler, tick one box and let Coacha do the rest!
Thanks
The Coacha Team.
